Writing Instructions

Miss Turner sat at the front of the classroom with a loaf of bread, a plate, a knife, butter and jam.  We gave her the instructions for how to make a jam sandwich and she took them very literally! When Mohamed told Miss Turner to put butter on the bread, she put her hand into the butter and put it straight onto the bread! It was a very messy lesson. 

We focused on the imperative verbs and then we had a go at dramatising the instructions. Have a look through our pictures. Can you guess what the imperative verbs are?
